I'm looking for a program to convert music files to mp3. I've tried switch, but it froze my computer. Anyone know of any other reliable programs for this?

switch froze yoru computer/ THere are a few others that can help... goldwave does a nice job but you have to buy it... or perhaps not. I found some others on the net but they are hard to come across. It would help to research your problem with switch too I am sure you are not the only one with that problem.

CDex is awesome, but I don't know how to use it as a converter...I just know you can. I also don't know where to get it, and I don't know which version is good nowadays. Obviously I don't know much! Lol I'm a Switch fan; bummer it froze your comp. But go to Google and give Cdex a shot.
Good luck!
Caitlin :-)

thanks all, I found one that works extremely easily. Its audio converter studio. Its a couple combo boxes, a selection, and then you sit and watch the little hourglass. Simple as can be.
thanks for the imput.

Well, I got it off of www.mymusictolls.com. That is about as close as I can get you. If you use google, like I did, you get about five different download links for it. Just type audio studio converter into google. It comes right up on several different websites.
